Shakespeare Workshop

Year 6 has been busy learning about Shakespeare, paying close attention to the story of Macbeth. In our Literacy lessons, children have used drama to explore the plots, themes and characters presented throughout the play.  On Friday 27th January, children took part in an ‘in-house’ Macbeth workshop lead by Perform drama group. As you can see, the children particularly enjoyed re-enacting the battle and murder scenes from the play! We concluded our learning on Macbeth by writing a balanced argument for – 'Who is to blame for the murder of King Duncan?'
