Mrs Pomeroy, Mrs Green and many other staff and parents escorted our school choir down to the Village square to sing carols to the general public today.
Despite the cold conditions, the singing was lovely and the children managed to bring warmth to all those who listened! The recorder group led y Mrs Green also entertained the crowd with some music of their own.
The choir are currently raising money for Farleigh Hospice and have recorded a CD of their carols to sell to parents, friends and family.
The CDs can be pre-ordered through the school office at £2 each with at least £1.50 going towards Farleigh Hospice.
A huge thank you to all the children, staff and parents who braved the cold to either sing or support with a special mention for Mrs Pomeroy and Mrs Green for their leading input.
See this article in the Essex Chronicle about both the efforts of one of our pupils and our choir.
