The Year 6 Football team came third in the Chelmsford Schools Football competition. They are also competing in a league and won their first fixture against Baddow Hall. Unfortunately due to the wet weather, several games have been cancelled this term. The next game is Wed 13th Nov at St Michaels Junior School.
Year 5/6 'A' Tag Rugby team won the first round of their competition at Chelmsford Rugby Club and will be attending the Tag Rugby Finals on Tuesday 19th November in High Ongar. Also, well done to the 'B' team who came 5th.
This term, Year 6 have been receiving Tag rugby from Eddie Gooby who is linked to Boswells school and Chelmsford Rugby Club. This has encouraged several of our pupils to join clubs out of school.
Cross - Country. Our year 5/6 teams are continuing to compete in the Pope and Smith Cross country league, with several of our pupils being selected for the CSAc development squad. Also, for the first time this year, year 3 and 4 took part in a cross-country race at Chelmsford Sport and Athletic Club.
PE potential. 25 pupils from year 5 and 6 have been attending PE potential sessions at Boswells School on Thursday mornings. They were lucky enough to be coached by an England vollleyball player!
