On Friday the 14th of December 2012 the Barnes farm golf team went to little channels. The first team was jack fox, Thomas Cashell, Karim Jivan and Bradley Edwards. The other team was ben kersey, Daniel Chubb, Thomas brooks and Oliver wise.
At first they told us what games we were going to play and every group played all the activity`s that were set up. In the end one of the helpers announced who the winners were. The longest shot went to Ben Kersey. Then they announced who won. The first team came 3rd and the second team, surprisingly they won out of the 5 teams who took part.
We all certainly enjoyed it all and hope that we could get this opportunity again.

Jack Cole, PGA Professional at Little Channels Golf in Chelmsford sent us this message following our schools triumph in the first ever inter-school competition on Friday 14th December.
"Hello Mr McTaggart, today was an absolute success with the children coming to the golf club, with Ben K, Daniel C, Thomas B and Oliver W winning the team prize. Ben K also won the longest drive.
Thanks for allowing the children to attend, they also received a complimentary voucher to attend the kids club"
According to Mrs Coxon, who supervised the competition, these children represented the school brilliantly. They have all learnt their skills through our breakfast club - TriGolf which is held on Monday mornings in our school hall. Well done to all of you!
